Saray Hotel

Saray Motel is the first Turkish Cypriot Motel. It
was built by the Vakif. It should be mentioned that
it’s a religious foundation unlike any other
foundation. The construction of the hotel began in
1959 and continued for three years and finally in
the March of 1962 the hotel began its services.
Saray Motel has 72 rooms and 144 beds. The rooms are
fitted with central air-conditioning, a TV, a
telephone, and a mini bar. There is also a disco, an
American bar, and a casino. The center of attraction
in the hotel is the roof restaurant-bar, once here
one has a bird's eye view of
Nicosia. As
Saray Motel
is located in the very center of Nicosia it offers
its guests the practicality of being close to public
transportation and the city shops.
